    Høringskommentar Havforskningsinstituttet
    Vurdering*: Omsøkt område ligger innenfor gyteområde for hyse med gyting i perioden fra primo mars til medio mai.
    Tilråding: På ressursbiologisk grunnlag vil vi fraråde seismisk skyting i det omsøkte området i gyteperioden for hyse. Til dette kan nevnes at rettighetshaver har meldt en annen borestedsundersøkelse, SUN14300, i samme tidsrom der det ikke er noen restriksjoner pga. gyting.

    Sokkeldirektoratet brev til selskapene oppsummert
    Det må ikke skyte seismikk i gytemerioden for hyse. Ellers har vi ingen merknader til at undersøkelsen gjennomføres som planlagt dersom tilrådningene som angitt blir fulgt. Roy Arild Espedal er meldt som fiskerikyndig bemanning i perioden 1.4.2014 - 1.7.2014 på fartøyet som utøver undersøkelsen.

    Fiskerifaglig vurdering og tilrådning
    Meldt prospekt ligger på Tampen helt nord i Nordsjøen, mot Britisk sektor.
    Det kan ventes noe linefiske i hele meldt periode. Sporadisk kan det også forekomme fiske
    med trål etter sei.
    Notfiske etter Norsjøsild foregår i området fra mai og ut juli måned. Noen notfartøy
    (kystnot) kan også fiske sei i området.
    Det kan også forekomme annen sporadisk fiskeriaktivitet som f.eks garnfiske.
    Ut fra en helhetsvurdering vil Fiskeridirektoratet anmode om fiskerikyndig bemanning på
    fartøyet som utøver undersøkelsen.
