    Høringskommentar Havforskningsinstituttet
    Vurdering*: Blokkene ligger innenfor gyteområdet for sei med gyting i tida fra ca. 1. januar til ca. 31. mars; blokkene ligger tett opp til gyteområdet for øyepål med gyting i tida fra ca. 1. mars til ca. 30. april.
    Tilråding: Vi vil fraråde seismisk skyting i det omsøkte området i perioden 1.1. til 30.4.
    * Vurderingen er gjort med hensyn på aktive gytefelt og konsentrerte gytevandringer opp mot disse.

    Fiskerifaglig vurdering
    Det kan ventes fiske jevnt over hele perioden i meldt tidsrom, fortrinnsvis av trålere som driver fiske etter konsumfisk. Erfaringsmessig vil det være mange britiske fartøy i området. Annen sporadisk fiskeriaktivitet kan heller ikke utelukkes.
    Sammendrag og tilrådning
    Ut fra en helhetsvurdering vil Fiskeridirektoratet anmode om fiskerikyndig bemanning på fartøyet som utøver undersøkelsen.
