    Høringskommentar Fiskeridirektoratet
    Fiskerifaglig vurdering
    Basert på blant annet informasjon om fiskeriaktivitet de senere år i området, forventer vi lav fiskeriaktivitet for selve undersøkelsesområdet (brutto) for den meldte perioden, men vi kan ikke utelukke sporadisk fiskeriaktivitet. Vi forventer større aktivitet fra spesielt bunntrålere, men også konvensjonelle fartøy på Nordvestbanken, sør for undersøkelsesområdet. Der vil det fiskes etter primært sei med innblanding av andre arter, med trål og konvensjonelle redskaper. Aktivitet fra autolinefartøy i undersøkelsesområdet og umiddelbar nærhet til undersøkelsesområdet må kunne påregnes. Aktivitet fra hvalfangstfartøy ut august måned kan ikke utelukkes helt.

    Sammendrag og tilrådning
    Vi forutsetter at undersøkelsen utføres med aktsomhet og uten å være til hinder for fiskeriaktivitet i området. Undersøkelsen kan bli anmodet endret og stanset dersom det oppstår konflikter med fiskeriene.
    Fiskerikyndig bør etablere kontakt med Kystvaktsentralen for å orientere seg om pågående fiskeriaktivitet i området.
